What Remains and What Goes is a collection of mirrors that use deconstruction as its inspiration and main design tool. This collection was based on research and continued prototyping of different ways to illustrate with materials that allude to erosion and the overlapping of layers. Taking advantage of the textural and color qualities of different types of veneer and intervening them to create a totally new and risky result. The visual and tactile contrast perceived by the viewer, seeks to invite the conversation and interaction with the mirrors.
